~Beginning of the Mallory Home~

HOME SWEET HOME!!! It is so fun to decorate, raise, and create our own home!

The Final product of putting together and decorating our home and making it feel like home! Here is the kitchen. We absolutely love it!

I love being a Mallory! We have had a wonderful beginning of creating our own home!

~Reception: Day of Celebration~

January 8, 2011 was our special day of celebration!!! A day to celebrate our marriage with friends and family! It was a wonderful day. We took many wonderful pictures with our families. Julene Thurston and Cherie Hamilton did the catering and decorating. Our theme was a "winter wonderland." Our colors were burgundy, black, silver, and white. They did a fantastic job and it was my dream reception, but even better. The false ceiling was absolutely gorgeous and took away the "gym" look that I didn't care for. Grandma Joe made our wonderful centerpieces. He created Sheldon's golf bag and clubs, painted in our colors, my dolphins, and the musical staff that my parents had at their reception. Mom surprised me and made the registry book for the reception and it was perfect! Grandma Charlie and Coleen made our wedding DVD and our beautiful wedding cake! We displayed the quilt that Grandma Blaine makes each of her grand kids for their weddings, and a quilt that Aunt Karla made us. Both beautiful and precious quilts. Uncle Russ helped with a lot of the food; the brownies, frappe, and hot chocolate, and mom and the girls made the mints. We had veggies, croissant chicken salad rolls, mints, nuts, brownies, cake, raspberry frappe and a hot cocoa bar! A very yummy and good variety of food. The flowers were gorgeous! Nancy Fower's did our flowers and she did a terrific job! We surprised dad with his great idea of the rose arrangement at the ends of the line. It was the Perfect reception!!! I couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking and exciting reception. Most of all it was fun to share our new marriage with friends and family. We had such great support and it was great visiting with everyone who came to see us.
