Yesterday Tianna, Kenzie, and Kyle and I went to go play tennis. Dallon Henkel, a kid who used to go to school with me and Tianna back at home, came up to visit and met up with us. We went to the tennis courts at Porter Park, by my apartment. We had a ton of fun together.

Later that night, a bunch of my roomates and our friends went to the sand dunes and had a huge bonefire. We first had to make a stop at
dairy queen to get some ice cream. When we got to the dunes we joined another group and had a huge
bonefire. It was fun to meet new people and have a good time together. Some kids brought some glow sticks and we played a game of
glowstick tag. The sand made it very difficult to run in and definately gave you a good workout. But I loved it. It was so soft and felt better than the beach did. And lets just say, I had some as a sovenir to take home. I dumped cupfulls out of my shoes and pants.
BYU-IDaho=Sand Dunes=new friends=tons of fun!
It looks like you are having so much fun! I love seeing all of your cute pictures. it brings back memories of my college days.
ReplyDeleteEm, I hear that you are coming home for conference.I asked your mom if they were going to Salt Lake to watch it on TV? tee hee and she smiled and said that they were going to get you!!!!I loved the picture of you at the dunes. You just radiate! I love that you see the temple each day. At our stake conference our new stake president, which I think walks on water, had as our stake theme, face your tents toward the temple. I gave the Primary kids the idea that is in the FRIEND to make a tent with chairs, table and sheets and take their notebook inside and view the conference from their tent as they did in ancient times. I think that it would be fun. Also a "conference wall," you put up words that you think that the speakers will talk about and then each person has a deck of pictures off the internet of the general authorities, when the speaker gives his talk, you can put the picture with the word. Then you can discuss it later.(not everyone thinks the same subject which is ok.
ReplyDeleteThere is a song about 'in the shadows of the temple.' You have that peace and love following you, too. Love you and hope to see ya this weekend. Drive carefully.
