~*Bridal Showers*~

I have got to be the luckiest Bride in the whole world, with the best families (both now and soon to be)!!!! My first Bridal Shower was on November 24, 2010 the day before Thanksgiving. Ains, Melissa, and CeLes did such an excellent job. I walked in and instantly felt loved. They put so much work into making this a memorable shower for me. Melissa's house was decorated to the hilt with a drink table, food table, party favor table, bride's chair, a sign welcoming everyone to my bridal shower, and so much more. The decorations were so cute!!! The colors matched everything to do with my wedding! They had a 'bed and breakfast' themed table full of yummy breakfast foods; crepes with lots of toppings, muffins, cakes, and little smokies! They really made me feel like a special bride and like it was my special day. I was so glad to have my mom and sister's there with me. They are great support. Then we had to say goodbye to Mason and Sheldon. They were off to do fun boy activities!!!
Here's all of the fun tables and different decorations they did!!! They are so creative! Grandma Gwen made me the cutest apron and everyone that came signed their name on it and some wrote cute advice or comments. Mayna said, "kiss the cook." She always makes me laugh!
I was so blessed to have so many family and friends there. We had a pretty good snow storm and a lot of the roads were closed and many couldn't make it. I had a really good turn out and received such a fun variety of things for our future 'Mallory Home.' We are so excited. Ains had such a great idea for my bridal shower theme. Everyone was assigned to a different room in our home. She had the kitchen, pantry, living room, throne room (bathroom), game room, bedroom, brides closet (which Ains had a fun time shopping for). Very creative rooms and ideas.
Here's all of the wonderful guests that came, plus more!
Some of the fun gifts we received.
Then it was time for round two on Saturday. Denise threw me another fun Bridal Shower. She had the theme 'fill your pantry.' We got such a fun and yummy variety of different foods. We definitely have a wonderful start on our food storage. I sure feel better about having a lot of food to start off our marriage with, especially with Sheldon's bottomless stomach! It is such a relief to because all that food will save so much money as we start out our little family. Grandma Charlie started practicing on our beautiful cake, which we they served, along with berry frappe', and cookies. I can hardly wait to see what our real wedding cake will look like. The practice round was already so good and yummy chocolate cake!!! Denise had a cute little table with a picture of us on it! and some cute hanging doves! Sheldon and I are so blessed to be apart of a caring, supportive and fun family!!!
